Yesterday, I posted a hymn and collect suitable for the beginning of a new Church Year. It seems to have been well received, which is wonderful. However, some of you have left comments on the post, pointing out typos that I had missed—and I appreciate it! My post from yesterday is a prime example of what happens when I do not run things through my dear editor (who also happens to be my beautiful wife), who always reminds me to send her my articles before publication.
She reminded me to do so yesterday—and yet here we are! :-)
Thank you to everyone who has offered corrections. They are needed and appreciated! And, I apologize for having missed those typos—my goal is to present scholarly, formal material for my readers. From now on, even the simplest posts deserve (rather, need) to be run through my editor! And help is also wanted from you! I am thankful that my readers have paid such close attention to my work, and hope you will continue to point out mistakes wherever they are made—and believe me, there will be several!
Blessings, dear friends, and happy Advent!
